Our Story

Inaugurated in 1973, the St Joseph’s Football and Netball Club has come a long way since our first ‘old army hut’ change rooms at Herne Hill Reserve.

With club membership our major strength, the club’s growth over the years is owed to the introduction of netball in 2000, junior football in 2009 and female football in 2016.

In 2023 we celebrated the Club’s 50th Anniversary and in 2025 we will proudly celebrate 25 years of netball at the club.

Today our premium club facilities include two football ovals, 6 gender neutral changerooms, recently upgraded netball courts, netball changerooms, a high-performance training centre and our bar, kitchen and function space. Our members enjoy regular access to all facilities across social and sporting events throughout the year.
